Found in both dry (open Sonoran Desert) and wet areas of human habitation, sometimes around lawns (San Carlos Bay, S86-15), at base of planted palm trees, irrigated garden areas, etc. Also at gas stations (Mazatlán, S99-87), cracks in structures and sidewalks and in deep, dry soil cracks (the latter away from human habitation at Agua Fria).
