, protecting more than 26,000 ha of montane forest and wet grasslands. However, this important area is not exempt from threats such as deforestation and land use changes associated with local subsistence farming, ranching, and forest fires. Although available data indicate that this species could have a restricted distribution, adjacent areas remain unexplored and could host additional populations. Therefore, we recommend that
