The male is externally indistinguishable from females except for the shape of the abdominal ventrites, with ventrite 5 shorter, apically broadly rounded and ventrites 1 and 2 shallowly concave, while females have ventrite 5 longer, subtriangular and ventrites 1 and 2 slightly convex.
