); mouth­cone short and rounded at apex with 3­segmented maxillary palpi. Compound eyes more or less bulging. Ocellar setae I absent, setae III situated between hind ocelli or rarely at tangent of anterior margin of hind ocelli, and relatively long. Postocular setae uniserial and five pairs.
