Crown short, broadly rounded, three-fifths as long as wide, tylus shorter on midline than crown, its defining sutures ending abruptly just in front of ocelli; antenna with short postpedicel partially withdrawn into tip of pedicel, bearing arista on anterodorsal edge, a central globular basiconic sensillum almost entirely withdrawn into prominently rimmed pit, and behind this a large pit containing several coeloconic sensilla surrounded by prominent marginal spines (
