Small antlike salticids with somewhat swollen male first legs, vertical and excavated male chelicerae with an ectal spur on the paturon, a round bulb on the palp, and a relatively long RTA. In contrast, the

group of genera has the bulb of the male palp compressed laterally (

, but we have not found morphological characters that place it more clearly. The molecular data, however, are clear that

is within the

and a close relative of
