Spines present, often continuous with each other (Pl. 1D), provided with low ridges of perisarc (Pl. 1E), open or closed at tips. Polyps dimorphic: gastro- and gonozooids. Gastrozooids up to

high, and degenerate, with 15 tentacles, and possibly no mouth; 46 rounded gonophores basally, each carrying three eggs. Nematocysts: desmonemes (6.06.5) × (3.63.8) µm and microbasic euryteles (8.99.8) × (3.13.5) µm (both measured undischarged).
