The examined specimens were found in a dried-up stony stream bed in a deciduous forest. They have been collected together with specimens of

by beating of a single shrub resembling a willow. Both species were present in large numbers (dozens to hundreds of individuals) and were, despite considerable efforts, not found at nearby places. The shrub had some dry branches and large, tough blisters on leaves (probably caused by gall-inducing mites).
