Pygofer (Fig. 66) apex with spine-like process. Style (Fig. 70) blade thin, elongated, strongly curved dorsally. Aedeagus (Figs 71, 72) shaft enlarged to apex, with two pairs of short subapical processes and pair of short, triangular apical processes.

Sternite VIII (Fig. 63), in ventral view, 1.7 times wider than long; posterolateral margins rounded, slightly produced posterad; posterior margin straight. Valve (Fig. 64), in ventral view, 2.1 times wider than long; anterior margin straight; lateral margin excavated, convergent posterad; posterior margin excavated. Pygofer (Fig. 65), in lateral view, two times longer than maximum height; ventral margin almost straight; apex rounded; macrosetae dispersed on posterodorsal quadrant; apex in dorsal view (Fig. 66), with spine-like process surpassing pygofer apex. Subgenital plate, in lateral view (Fig. 65), not produced posteriorly as far as pygofer apex; in ventral view (Fig. 67), ligulate, 3.7 times longer than wide, slightly wider near midlength; microsetae on ventral surface, near external margin; apex rounded. Connective (Fig. 68) in posterior view, as wide as long; stalk short, wider apically; in lateral view (Fig. 71), stalk strongly curved ventrally; translucent keel dorsally, higher and conspicuous between arms. Style, in dorsal view (Fig. 69), with outer lobe small, truncated, without setae; in lateral view (Fig. 70), blade thin, elongated, strongly curved dorsally; ventral margin serrated medially; apex acute, directed dorsally. Aedeagus (Figs 71, 72) with preatrium strongly developed; dorsal apodeme reduced; shaft directed dorsally, cylindrical and enlarged to apex; two pairs of short subapical processes, anterior pair shorter and directed anterad, posterior pair longer and directed posterolaterally; shaft apex blunt, with pair of short, triangular apical processes. The new species epithet is derived from the Latin word “spinam” meaning spine. It refers to the acute, spine-like pygofer process.
