Adults of this species were reported from leaf litter (
<bibRefCitation pageId="8" pageNumber="247">Newton et al. (2000)</bibRefCitation>
, otherwise little is known about the biology of this species. The New Brunswick specimens were captured in Lindgren funnel traps deployed in an old silver maple swamp. Adults were collected during June and July.

This is probably the same undescribed species that was reported by

from Michigan and Illinois.
