ETYMOLOGY: The specific name is a patronym in honor of Charles Griswold, collector of the

material, for his contributions to the knowledge of arachnology.

Females can be distinguished by the wide, higly sclerotized base of the anterior receptaculum (fig. 39D).</paragraph>
