Ligament strong; pseudocardinal tooth of the right valve triangular, equal height, pseudocardinal tooth of the left valve well developed; lateral teeth long; anterior adductor muscle scar strong and deep, posterior adductor muscle scar smaller and significantly weaker. Periostracum olive black. Nacre white.
