Body brown to dark brown; all femora brown to dark brown, concolourous with body; fore tibiae brown, yellowish apically, mid and hind tibiae brown to dark brown, all tarsi yellowish; antennal segments I and II brown to dark brown, almost concolourous with head, segment III yellow; forewings pale except for basal shading, major body setae dark brown. Head with postocular setae much shorter than eyes, pointed at apex; cheeks weakly rounded; maxillary stylets retracted to postocular setae, head with maxillary stylets 0.37–0.41 of head width apart; antennal segment III with one sensorium. Major setae not long, pointed at apex, pronotal anteromarginal setae well developed. Mesopresternum boat shaped. Fore tarsal tooth absent (cf.
