Test elongate, outline auriculate, cross section lenticular, wall calcareous, perforate, umbilical side imperforate, surface smooth; chambers many, rapidly increasing in size, arranged trochospirally, spiral side evolute, umbilical side involute; periphery acute and carinate, sutures curved and slightly depressed on the spiral side, radial and much depressed on the umbilical side; aperture an interiomarginal, umbilical, opening with a distinct, projecting apertural flap.
