Holotype, male (Fig. 29a). Length 1.88 mm. Color of legs and head ferruginous; remainder black, pronotum dull, elytra with bronze lustre. Body subovate; in dorsal aspect and in profile with distinct constriction between pronotum and elytron. Rostrum in apical half granulate-punctate, in basal half with irregular median ridge and pair of submedian ridges; with sparse suberect scales; epistome with transverse, angulate ridge.
