The new species is described based on the genitalia of three male specimens and the leaf mines only. The pinned adult of the
<typeStatus id="54F88848FFCFFFE4FE10FA610526F9CC" box="[414,512,1519,1545]" pageId="15" pageNumber="378" type="holotype">holotype</typeStatus>
was lost, and the two
<typeStatus id="54F88848FFCFFFE4FD7CFA7E047BF9CF" box="[754,861,1520,1546]" pageId="15" pageNumber="378" type="paratype">paratypes</typeStatus>
are from adults in pupal skins, and therefore pinned specimens are unavailable. Although external characters of the species remain unknown, the new species possesses unique male genitalia and a particularly unique morphology of the leaf mine. We describe this species for the record and hope that the adults will be discovered in the future.
