described this very characteristic species from the Natal coast. It has a peculiar arrangement of the diactines at the distal cones, not in a brush as is usual, but arranged along the distal part of the radiating tubes. Additionally, the subatral tri- and tetractines have the paired actines strongly different in length, which is very characteristic. For further detail see Borojević’s description and illustrations.
