Autozooecia arranged in 4 to 8 longitudinal rows, separated by shallow grooves, elongated oval with a strongly porous, slightly convex frontal wall. Aperture circular to oval and situated on a short peristome. Ascopore median, circular, small and usually only slightly larger than the regular pores on the frontal wall. Ovicell has not been observed.</paragraph>
