In this species the posttesticular ovary forms a nearly straight line with the tandem testes (Ophthalmophaginae), the genital pore is postpharyngeal, the testes are close together and both situated in the posterior fifth of the body rather than having the anterior testes separated some distance from the posterior end (mid-level of body or more anterior), and the vitelline fields are not confluent posteriorly, placing this species in
