<paragraph id="A7563D767FFAC71ABC0599B818B0B08D" pageId="152" pageNumber="153">This subspecies occurs in the mountains south of the French Broad River (Barr 1969: 76) from southwestern North Carolina and adjacent parts of Tennessee (Darlington 1933a: 64) to northeastern Georgia (Fattig 1949: 9) and northwestern South Carolina (Ciegler 2000: 30).</paragraph>
