), which have a moderately sparsely punctate and shining dorsum, a subcordiform pronotum (with or without a dark fascia), and a diffuse, lightly colored elytral macula (

). The metaventrite has a deep, triangular impression. The aedeagus in this complex is very unusual: there is no distal piece, the gonopore being located at the sharply pointed end of the main piece (
