. Head massive, placed in axis with the body. Compound eyes distinctly divided into upper and lower portions, width of lower portion less than half that of upper portion. Antennae 8-segmented. Scape as long as wide, pedicel huge, distinctly widened in apical portion, about 2.5× as long as wide, antennal segment III twice as long as pedicel, segments VI and VII equal in length, VIII tapering apically beginning at half of its length. Apical segment of rostrum tapering, slightly shorter than preapical one. Rostrum reaching hind leg coxae. Fore wings 2.5× as long as wide, widest at ½ of its length, costal margin merely curved at base, then straight, anterior angle very widely rounded, apical margin rounded, posteroapical angle rounded, posterior margin straight, all margins tuberculate, tubercles asetose. Apex of clavus at half of fore wing length; postclaval margin straight. Common stem Sc+R+CuA thick, short, stems Sc+R and CuA diverging at acute angle; stem Sc+R straight, forked at half of fore wing length; branch R1 not reaching costal margin, branch Rs almost straight reaching apical margin; stem CuA straight, slightly curved at apical portion, not reaching posteroapical angle; claval vein CuP distinct.
