). Vertex angulate, median length about equal to distance between eyes at posterior margin. General color reddish. Face pale brown. Apex of vertex with a thin, transverse, pale yellow band that extends to ocellus and is bordered on each side by black; sometimes with short straight lines posteriorly. Frequently without band, only reddish brown, sometimes broad, bright red transverse band across median half of vertex, yellow band along the posterior margin. Pronotum and scutellum orange. Anterior wing transparent yellowish, usually with brown spots along costa and commissural line.
