Uniformly punctate, with punctures separated by 1–2 their diameters. Eyes large and bulging. Temples short, smooth, without microsculpture. Labial palps of males with terminal palpomere strongly securiform.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8BE31141FF87EF775CFF0B0FD0EFFD28" blockId="17.[151,1437,151,1040]" pageId="17" pageNumber="200">Pronotum cordate, 1.15 times as wide as head, 1.4–1.46 times as wide as long, widest behind marginal setae. Marginal pore situated in 1.5 of it diameter from margin of pronotum. Anterior margin straight, anterior angles slightly marked, sides of pronotum irregularly rounded, sinuate before acutely prominent posterior angles. Disc mate, due to strong irregular microsculpture, deeply punctate and weakly wavy rugose. Median line deep and long. Lateral margin flat, explanate in basal half. Basal grooves indistinct, flat.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8BE31141FF87EF775CFF0BFDD136FCDD" blockId="17.[151,1437,151,1040]" pageId="17" pageNumber="200">Elytra 1.51–1.6 times as long as wide, sides subparallel, widest in the apical third, microsculpture almost squamiform, especially in apical half. Striae narrow and impunctate. Intervals slightly convex at humerus, gradually flattened towards apices.</paragraph>
