Sheath firm, conspicuous, 0.39–1.32 µm wide, smooth, non-lamellated, greenish-yellow or brown to reddish-brown. Cell spherical to hemispherical, 2.77-7-33 µm wide. Cell content homogenous, blue-green. Individual envelopes firm, 0.4–1.36 µm wide, smooth, non-lamellated, yellowish-brown to reddish-brown. Presence of baeocytes.</paragraph>
