Filaments and branches not clearly distinguishable, 13 cells in apical portion. Sheath firm, non-lamellated, brown. Cells round to elongated in young filaments and round in mature filaments 5.1618.65 µm wide. Cell content granulated, blue-green. Heterocyte spherical, semi-spherical, lateral to intercalary position, 7.6911.16 µm wide. Hormogonia numerous, developed in the apical branches.</paragraph>
