Sheath firm, 1.21–3.66 μm wide, 3–5 lamellae, hyaline, brown to yellow-brown. Trichomes cylindrical, false geminate branched rare, not constricted. Cells short, 8.27–11.53 μm wide, 3.77–9.8 μm long, ratio l/w = 0.63. Apical cell rounded. Cell content granulated, olive-green. Heterocyte ellipsoid to semi-spherical, intercalary, 7.84–15.56 μm wide, 5.44–16.5 μm long. Hormogonia 5–10 cells, not constricted.</paragraph>
