Face and facial carina brown; carina undeveloped. Occiput brown, ventrally dark brown. Postgena brown. Arista with 4 dorsal and 1 ventral, long branches and large terminal bifurcation. Supracervical setulae 14¯17 per side; postocular setae 18–19 per side. Clypeus yellowish brown, dorsally somewhat grayish. Cibarium with ca. 12 medial and ca. 11 posterior sensilla per side; 1 pair of medial sensilla situated outside rows, just anterior to sensilla campaniformia (Pl. 6B). Prementum with 5–6 (1 proximal, 2 lateral, and 2–3 distal) pairs of setae. Labellum with 6 pseudotracheae per side.
