The

</taxonomicName>
-group is here introduced as new. It is characterized by the presence of two rows of deep but small pronotal striae and seven to ten deep striae on elytron. In both species known so far the black elytron is covered with well-marked yellow stripes or small yellow dots. Posterior angles of pronotum acute. This species group has two species in Queensland, mainly recorded from isolated inland localities.
