male has a distinctly modified apical region of elytra, while the
<typeStatus id="22174EFBFF8A736BFC52FBA7FBFD4779" box="[1004,1100,1125,1149]" pageId="9" pageNumber="558" type="paratype">paratype</typeStatus>
has the elytron unmodified. It is either a male of a different species or a female. This specimen was not dissected to avoid further damages. Franz (1980a) gives more precise collecting data: Hardwar-Gap,
