The color pattern of the wings, especially the two broad preapical bands on the hindwing is distinctive. The larva was found in coarse sand. The fact that only
<specimenCount id="B3AAFD3D5455FFC3FC69B961FBE9FE82" box="[982,1094,322,346]" pageId="16" pageNumber="15" type="larva">one larva</specimenCount>
was found near the entrance to the cave (Zone 1) suggests that this is not typical behavior for this species.
