Head longer than wide, with transverse striate sculpture; genae sub-parallel, with a pair of stout setae on basal third; posterior ocelli close to compound eyes; dorsal length of compound eyes greater than one third of head length; postocular setae capitate, shorter than dorsal eye length; maxillary stylets retracted to postocular setae, close together medially (
