Re-examination of

from the A. K. Dubey collection (types donated by B. V. David) revealed that the submargin becomes deflexed ventrally in slide-mounted puparia, and the true margin remains hidden below the dorsal surface, the thoracic tracheal furrows are indicated by polygonal markings or faint irregular tubercles (

revealed also the following features not mentioned in the original description: thoracic tracheal furrows marked with polygonal markings; thoracic tracheal folds without polygonal markings; caudal furrow with faint tubercles, prominent at caudal pore opening area; submargin folded ventrally; subventral area not demarcated from the submargin (
