The following combination is diagnostic for males: clypeus with yellow marking; the male processes of S4 elongate, apex truncate, approximately parallel-sided in profile and processes of S2 and S3 poorly developed to absent. The male is very similar to

F1 shorter than F2 on anterior surface, 10.5:12, equally long on posterior surface, 12:12; F2 with one seta attaining apex of F3, a second 3/4 as long; F3 with one seta 3/4 as long as F4, a second half as long; F4 with two setae half as long as F5.

Metabasitarsus much shorter than remaining tarsomeres combined (35:47); ventral process at basal 1/5, short; anterior process at midlength, short, apex obtuse.
