. Arista densely plumose with hairs sparser apically. Setae brown. Ocellar seta thin. Presutural intra-alar seta absent. Anterior dorsocentral seta 2/3 length of posterior dorsocentral. Acrostichal seta absent. One lateral scutellar seta. Head yellow with large light brown spot around base of arista, and one pair of dorsolateral brown spots behind head and ocellar tubercle brown; gena shining. Scutum yellow with lateral 1/3 brown postsuturally. Scutellum and metanotum brown with mediotergite sometimes paler. Pleuron light yellow with anepisternum and anepimeron brown (anepimeron sometimes paler). Legs yellow with fore tibia light brown and fore tarsi brown. Halter entirely white. Wing clear. M1+2 ratio 3.0. Abdomen yellow with tergites 3 and 4 brown, tergite 2 brown laterally, tergite 5 brown centrally (stripe strongly narrowing anteriorly) and epandrium dark brown.

(Figs 60–62) Annulus well-developed, not enclosing 7th spiracle. Cerci concave medially with one pair of slightly longer setae. Surstylus half height of epandrium, rounded, and with small pointed tubercles on inner-distal margin. Hypandrial lobe relatively long with one minute distal and two long medial setae. Phallapodeme, basiphallus and epiphallus well-developed. Pregonite weakly sclerotized and with two subapical setae. Postgonite large, broadly rounded and setose. Distiphallus 1/3 length of phallapodeme; paraphallus stout and arched apically with margin minutely spinulose; thumb broad and short.
