Elytra at base about as wide as pronotum at widest point, at suture slightly shorter (ratio 0.81), at lateral margins slightly longer (ratio 1.25) than pronotum at midline; punctation coarse and dense, on disc forming transverse rugae; pubescence dark, intermixed with whitish hairs, particularly on lateral portion of each elytron; surface without microsculpture. Wings fully developed.
