(type specimen). Furis long, dense, and silky. Dorsal pelage is buff brown to dark brown; venter is paler and grayer. Bare parts of face, ears, and membranes are dark brown, and membranes are semi-translucent. Ears are funnel-shaped, and fold extends from base of ear to halfway up posterior margin; tragus is long and pointed, with distinct basal notch, curving slightly outward at tip, and is generally pale with dark or uniformly pale tip. Wings are attached at base of toes, and calcar is well developed and curved. Skull is small, lightly built, and similar to the Dark Woolly Bat (
