Wing with central band and preapical band connected centrally and three hyaline spots between them; middle hyaline spot of cell R4+5 narrow and strip-like. Cell R4+5 nearly as wide as cell R2+3 at widest point. Male fore femur without ventral incision at apex, tibia without ventral process at base. Scutellar spines very long, about 3 times longer than scutellum, black, with 1516 long inner setulae.

Eye stalks as long as body, head width equal to body length, red brown. Setulae on head and eye stalks mostly short and dark brown. 1 pair of black inner vertical seta thin and located at middle of stalks with a weak tubercle; 1 pair of black outer vertical seta thin. Antennae yellow brown; arista subapical, long, black. Proboscis yellow brown with brown setulae; palpus slender, brown.</paragraph>

Thorax red brown with pale gray pollen. Setulae on thorax dark brown; scutum with long sparse setulae. Scutellar spines very long and curved (

Legs yellow brown except fore tibia and tarsus black brown with tarsomeres 35 yellowish brown and apical 1/4 of mid and hind femora brown. Setulae on legs brown; femora with long setulae. Fore femur not obviously thickened, 4.2 times longer than wide, about 3.4 times thicker than fore tibia, and with two rows of short black ventral tubercles (anterior row with 2125 tubercles, posterior row nearly as long as anterior row and with 1822 tubercles). Male fore femur without ventral incision at apex, tibia without ventral process at base. Wings hyaline with four dark brown transverse bands; central band and preapical band connected centrally, with three hyaline spots between them, cell R4+5 nearly as wide as cell R2+3 at widest point, middle hyaline spot of cell R4+5 strip-like; veins dark brown. Halter whitish.

): Epandrium semiglobular, with posterolateral angle somewhat acute in lateral view, without distinct setae; surstylus rather long, about 2.5 times longer than wide, apically curved downward in lateral view. Cerci subtriangular in posterior view, about 2 times longer than wide, without long setae. Aedeagal apodeme with anterior arm broadening anteriorly in lateral view, 1.3 times as long as posterior arm.
