”. The naturalist probably collected all three in Ipanema (the

), where he and Olfers stayed in 1819 and where Sellow returned in 1829. Nevertheless, every locality visited by Sellow between the Tietê and Paranapanema rivers are potential candidates as the collecting locality of these specimens.

More importantly, it appears that the existence of these three specimens has not been recorded in the literature until recently (
