Additional subcephalic setae sometimes present on cephalic capsule posterior to crown(s) of setae; may be shorter, of similar length, or longer than crown setae, and either irregularly spaced or arranged in longitudinal rows. Amphidial fovea usually unispiral, sometimes cryptospiral, spiral or loop-shaped, not located on cuticularised plate. Buccal cavity with large, heavily cuticularised, dorsal tooth, small subventral teeth and row of denticles sometimes present. Pharynx usually with posterior pharyngeal bulb ≥ 50% of total pharynx length, or gradually widening posteriorly, sometimes with heavily cuticularised lumen. Precloacal supplements usually present, may consist of pores, papillae or mounds, or sometimes tubular, conical or triangular. Spicules short, arcuate, heavily cuticularised, often with capitulum.
