This species is distinguished from all other species of

by the following combination of characters: 1) elytral margins subparallel, greatest width &lt;1.5 × humeral angle width, 2) pronotum shining without areas of dense pubescence, 3) pronotal punctation deep and 4) elytron with 45 punctures between suture and costa I medially. This species most closely resembles
