<paragraph id="8BAC36B1FDE8FD9AFF39B91AA41FF9A4" blockId="573.[181,1164,1316,1687]" pageId="573" pageNumber="572">Head dark brown to black and moderately shiny; occipital margin, eye margins and interantennal prominence weakly coppery-purple; antenna (Fig. 1485) with radicle brown; scape generally brown, but orange-brown internally; pedicel brown, dark brown proximally; flagellum brown; maxillary palpus brown; thorax dorsally black and only slightly shiny, less so than frontovertex, but with a slight coppery purple sheen, side and venter dark brown, mesopleuron generally with a stronger brassy and weak purple sheen; coxae dark brown; all femora dark brown; all tibiae dark brown, pale orange at apex, mid tibia more broadly pale orange; all tarsi pale orange, apical tarsomere on each slightly dusky; fore wing (Fig. 1487) infuscate to apex of stigmal vein, apex hyaline; hind wing weakly infuscate in proximal half, apex hyaline; propodeum black and slightly shiny; gaster dark brown, generally with a dull coppery purple sheen mixed with some brassy, green, blue and purple reflections.</paragraph>

margin, interantennal prominence slightly protuberant; occipital margin sharp, carinate; ocelli forming an angle of about 95°; inner eye margins clearly diverging in front of posterior ocelli; frontovertex shiny, generally with, moderately deep, sometimes touching, piliferous punctures interspersed with regular, polygonally reticulate sculpture, giving it the appearance of the surface of a thimble or golf ball, each puncture about as large as diameter of ocellus; frontovertex with about 7 or 8 pairs of setae in front of anterior ocellus, a line of sparse setae along inner eye margin continued along lower eye margin; temple and gena quite shiny, with shallow, longitudinally elongate, polygonally reticulate sculpture; eye reaching occipital margin, with conspicuous, dense, pale setae that are each about as long as diameter of facet; scrobes moderately deep, weakly margined dorsally and laterally, narrowly ∩-shaped, meeting, generally with sculpture a little shallower than that on frontovertex and slightly transversely elongate; interantennal prominence weak, dorsally rounded, with shallow, fine, regular, polygonally reticulate sculpture; antenna as in Fig. 1485; scape subcylindrical, about 5.5X as long as broad; funicle segments subquadrate, F1-F2 subequal and clearly smaller than F3-F5 which are also subequal; clava hardly broadened, less than 1.1X as wide as F5, nearly as long as F3-F5 combined, apex with distinct, oblique truncation; malar sulcus present, but very shallow and indistinct; clypeal margin concave, although slightly protuberant medially; mandible with 3 short, subequal teeth; palp formula 3-3.
