. Body outline lanceolate with anterior end narrowly rounded and posterior end tapered, flexible but not contractile. Two macronuclear nodules, 24 micronuclei. Cortical granules lacking. Invariably 3 frontal cirri; 35 buccal cirri; frontoventral row III (excluding right frontal cirrus) composed of 46 cirri; frontoventral row IV extends beyond mid-body, composed of 1223 cirri; frontoventral row V rather short, composed of 48 cirri. One left and one right marginal row, composed of 1222 and 1727 cirri, respectively. Three dorsal kineties arranged in
