Cells are Gram-stain-negative, non-flagellated and rod shaped. Colonies are circular, convex, entire and yellowish on MA medium after 48 h incubation at 30℃. Cells reduce nitrate to nitrogen and are positive for alkaline phosphatase, esterase (C4), esterase lipase (C8), leucine arylamidase, valine arylamidase, acid phosphatase, naphthol­AS­BI­phosphohydrolase (API ZYM).
