Male dichoptic, frons about one-third of head-width, brown. Fronto-orbital plate, face, parafacial and gena silver pruinose. Antenna and arista dark brown; postpedicel with tip rounded. Palpus dark brown. Thorax. Scutum dark brown, with two lateral grey dusted areas before scutellar suture. Postpronotum and notopleuron grey dusted. Dorsocentrals 2+3. Intraalars 1+2. Lower katepisternal fine and closer to the posterior seta. Haltere yellow. Calypters light brown. Legs. Fore tibia without a posterior seta. Mid femur with 1 preapical seta. Mid tibia with 1 median posterior seta. Hind tibia with 1 short and fine median anterodorsal and anteroventral setae; without posterodorsal. Arolium and pulvillus reduced. Wing. Smoky brown. Costal spine distinct. Abdomen. Sternite 1 bare.</paragraph>
