This species can be recognized by the following combination of characters: sternaulus present and elongate, exceeding 3/4 of the mesopleuron length at the level of the sternaulus; axillular carinae present; dense patch of setae on the distoventral edge of the harpe present; medioventral conjunctiva absent and parossiculi fused; and medioventral ridge of the gonostylevolsella complex present.
