Lateral avicularia appear to be lacking; frontal avicularia on axial zooids, rarely seen elsewhere, originating proximal to cryptocystal rim, directed laterally, raised on a tubular base, rostrum with a hooked tip, mandible triangular, with a sharp, hooked tip. Ovicells smooth, globular, about
