Head and clypeus with strong, almost isodiametric microsculpture throughout. Eyes moderately large and bulging.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8BE31141FF91EF615CFF0DD8D622FA7F" blockId="7.[151,1437,905,1686]" pageId="7" pageNumber="190">Pronotum 1.22–1.3 times as wide as head, 1.43–1.49 times as wide as long, widest near marginal setae. Anterior margin slightly concave, anterior angles effaced, sides regularly rounded, weakly sinuate or straight at base, posterior angles rectangular or slightly obtuse. Punctation on disc irregular, as dense as that on head. Lateral margins of pronotum broadly reflexed on anterior half; flat, explanate and impunctate in basal half. Basal grooves indistinct, flat.
