As was noted by

, this species (originally described from Australia) strongly reminds of
<taxonomicName genus="T." lsidName="T. pulchellum" pageId="33" pageNumber="66" rank="species" species="pulchellum">T. pulchellum</taxonomicName>
(as
<taxonomicName genus="T." lsidName="T. poculatum" pageId="33" pageNumber="66" rank="species" species="poculatum">T. poculatum</taxonomicName>
), but can be readily distinguished by its striate spores (Figure 16d). The molecular results confirm it is a distinct species (Figure 1b).
