. Strobila of short or intermediate length, relatively wide. Scolex globular. Neck short and wide relative to scolex. Suckers embedded within scolex, directed laterally or antero-laterally. Proglottides craspedote, much wider than long. Genitalia single. Genital pores unilateral. Genital ducts cross osmoregulatory canals dorsally. External and internal seminal vesicles present. Testes dorsal, mainly antiporal. Ovary and vitellarium poral. Vagina ventral or postero-ventral to cirrus sac. Seminal receptacle elongate. Early uterus transverse cord or tube, with sparse posterior fenestrations (not clearly seen in macerated
